"Greek Cafe" Mixed multi media collage for sale:$400
This piece came to me one evening out of the blue,on the first day of the year 2006 and as soon as the idea hit me I started to scetch the scene on my scetch pad, and soon got to working for making all the individaul pieces for the collage. Of course my glue gun was there to help me thru my project, otherwise my pieces would not come to be. So I used shrink plastic for the cafe tables, buttons and wire this is what I constructed the curly cue cafe chairs. I also added to the outdoor cafe tables some tropical drink colorful umbrellas. I never used any paint for this project, for the background I used blue colored tissue paper that i decoupaged then I started to pick out my Greek scenery from my pamphlets of and about Greece when I traveled there I saved the magazines, cause the pics are so beautiful. So my idea was to construct a scenic point from the cafe and you could oversee whatever you wish from the 5 scenes I added to the collage and I made the middle one stand out a bit more so to give some dimension, so it doesn't look flat. I also used nail polish for the sign, and I used this sandy grout like paint mixture to give the look of white stucco on the frame work of the piece and I had gotten some greek reproduction coins and stuck them to the corners of the collage. I also added some flowers in a vase on the tables and used shrink plastic to make the mosaic on one of the tables.
"Flower Garden" Mixed multi media collage for sale $150
This is my colorful and whimsical flower garden straight from my imagination to here on this computer in this website for you to enjoy. I created this piece from breaking into pieces old AOL CD's, beleive it or not. So when I tell you I dont throw anything away, I really dont. My family knows that when they find some piece of junk like a ribbon or a box or some other things they give it to me to make something out of it. I also used nail polish, and made flowers out of colored tissue paper and pipe cleaners, a foam ball with needles and beads stuck to it for the sunflower. So thats it for this piece, I hope it makes youm smile and feel like you are in a daydream of a fantasy island. Well just pretend you are have fun with it, I know I did.
This is a fun piece that I designed with scraps of many different media, such as glue nail polish, glitter, silk flower and red ruffle ribbon. I like the exotic dance, music and dress of Flamenco. As you can see and read that I LOVE anything different and tropical and exotic. I hope you enjoy this piece it was fun too create something that once was and looked like junk. Isn't that amazing to create from junk to a treasured piece?
"Hawaiian Papaya" Acrylic on canvas paper

God Created Me
My Mother and Father Raised me
God will take me...........
This is my most favorite and most lifelike first painting i have ever done. It is painted with acrylic on canvas paper. The inspiration for this came from a photograph I took of this papaya I bought from a chinese man that was making baskets out of palm leaves, and he also was selling some papayas and so I bought one, and this was about 10 years ago in Hana, Maui, in Hawaii. the best and most beautiful place I have ever been to , and which also happened to be my first time traveling all by myself. When I went to cut this papaya to eat it the next morning, I was so shocked and so amazed at the color and the way it tasted. As soon as I got home and had my pictures developed I could not believe my eyes on how the camera caught the most beautiful colors of this delicious juicy papaya. So I told myself that one day I will paint it, and well here it is. I hope that you enjoy it and also makes your mouth water by just looking at it. So this is my piece of treasure of my memories of my first ever trip to heaven on earth the one and only HAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. To tell you the truth I could not believe that I pulled it off to paint it so much just like the photo, I was amazed, amused and surprised at my ability to do the painting without any professional training in painting techniques. So folks thats my story of this scrumptious looking PAPAYA. If anyone is interested I can also make prints to sell for $30 each.

Aloha Hawaii
My Heart and Joy.
Beautiful heavenly paradise,
Exotic, Spiritual
God's gift to humans
God's Garden of Eden.
Hawaii My love of my life, there is no other than this wonderful, sensual and exotic place. I am near, and won't leave you again, I love you dearly with all of my heart.
Here is a poem I wrote a while ago about friendship. Hope you like it.
What is A Friend? Written By: Alice Zaharian
A friend is someone who listens to everything you say
no matter how stupid or dumb it is.
A friend is someone who is honest and tells you the truth
about when you look good or bad.
A friend is there for you to share your good and bad times.
A friend is someone you can trust in with all your deepest
and darkest secrets.
A friend can make you angry, but in the end they can also
make you happy.
A really good friend is there even when you don't need
or want them around.
The good friend doesn't go away when they know
they are really needed.
The Best Friend is there for you as a sister when your's is not around.
They will always cherish your friendship like no other friend.
They will always be there for you no matter
if you are sick, well or rich or poor.
Here I am with my friend Rena she is from Virginia. She took me out to treat me for my Birthday at Ruby Tuesdays, in Maui, they brought me a cup of ice cream with cake with a candle in it and sang Happy Birthday to me at the restaurant. That was a really nice surprise from her as a gift to me. That was really nice and sweet for a friend to do something so special. I am really thankful to have such amazing friends like the ones I met on the ship.
Here I am with my other good friend Samia she is from Egypt and I met her on the NCL ship she was an assistant cook. We went on some excursions together, and we had a blast. Here we are at NCL's Christmas party December 2006 in the Spinnaker lounge on the 13th deck front of the ship.
