Caught a whale tail off the coast of Molokini island

This is Captain Cooks Point in Kona on the Big island where my friends and I rented kayaks  to go kayaking to the point where we went snorkeling. beautiful view and day we had. Truly a blessing from God.

Me and Eugenia having dinner and drinks in Waikiki

Here I am in the Blue halter top and my friend Eugenia having dinner in a bar restaurant in  Waikiki Oahu before she had to go to the airport. She is one of my very best friends I met while in training in Piney Point in Baltimore Maryland, for our wonderful adventure of working on a big huge Cruise Line. An amazingly frustrating and some fun job. I would not work in the food service area on the ship again. Absolutely dreadful, but i got to go to Hawaii for FREE, so I guess it was worth it in the long run and the friends I met and still keep in touch with is priceless.

Volcano National Park on the Big Island Hawaii

This is a picture of whats called caldera. If you can see some smoking cloudy areas in the picture that is sulfur coming from underneath the ground and smells pretty terrible. I  took this photo because there was an image that stood out at me from afar. The image is a profile of a woman with long reddish brown hair. I quickly thought of the Goddess Pele of the volcano. It was quite an amazing discovery, but when I showed it to others they didnt see it, but take a close look at it and tell me if you can see an image of a woman. This trip here was absolutely AMAZING, and inspiring to think and to know that God created this beautiful land of miracles and paradise as they call it.

Waikiki beach sunset

This is a very beautiful silouette of the palm trees at sunset in Waikiki beach, very breathtaking, cant wait to go back to explore some more.

Norwegian Cruise Line America Pride of Hawaii

This is the pride of Hawaii ship in the Kahalui Port in Maui where we stayed overnight. This is the ship I worked on for 6 months straight 7 days a week 8-15 hour days with 1/2 hour breaks for lunch and dinner. I say WOW because it was very hard on the feet and mentally challenging at times, but I made it, and survived to stay in one piece. I worked as a junior waiter at the Aloha Nui Cafe bussing tables cleaning tables and vaccuuming 3 times a day, Whooh never want to see or touch another vaccuum again. That was tough work.

Here I am my friend Eugenia took a picture of me and this gorgeous strong native Hawaiian, who was going and lighting the torches along the beach, before we asked him to take a picture with him. As for my hand gesture in Hawaiian is Shaka which means "Hang Loose" and also is like sign language saying how are you or what's up? Very unique to the Hawaiian culture.

NCL crew hiking tour in Maui

I had a gorgeous and fun filled day enjoying the beautiful weather and amazing scenery and learned something about Hawaii that day, but now cant remember what. I do remember though that this trip was only for NCLA crew members to give us some insight on the work they are doing to reconstruct this part of the land in Maui for future generations. The project they are working on is called The Maui Coastal Land Trust. It was a great adventure and I got to see another part of beautiful Maui, my favorite island.

Exotic Hawaiian Flowers

This is one of the flowers I found in the Akaka Falls National Park. I dont know the name, but I beleive it belongs to the Heliconia family. it almost looks like Alien pods.

Delicious Papaya from Hawaii

Is this not delicious looking or what? I went every Wednesday in the Maui mall they had outdoor farmers market selling these juicy exotic fruits such as papayas, mangos, juicy oranges and my ultimate favorite passionfruit, which in Hawaiian is called Lillikoi, what a cute name for a very tart and sometimes sweet fruit. That was one of my staple fruits every day and week.

Pinkish coral hydrangeas Kona on the Big Island

Here are some beautiful hydrangeas I found on the side of the road after we came back from kayaking and snorkeling down in Captain Cook. The colors of the flowers are so bright and happy looking here in Hawaii, like no other place I have ever seen.

Don't you wish you can go there like NOW? Take a vacation there relax and enjoy the culture and the most amazng views. This is one state in the US not to miss and I am sure its in that book 1000 places to visit before you die.

Check out the Hawaii.com website and check out the things to do like biking down Haleakala volcano after watching an amazing sunrise. This is something I need and want to do by my next Birthday. You can also go snorkeling or find a nice beach where you can relax and sit there until the sun goes down. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh sooooooooooo romantic isn't it? So what are you doing now? Call and make arrangements now, you only live once. So Just go and have the time of your life.
