My Art Comes From Within My Heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are a few of my favorite pieces that are one of a kind and unique, they are for sale for anyone interested. I wrote a little bit about each piece and how I got my ideas to create them. My favorite tools are the glue gun of course with the glue sticks, decoupage medium, and some collected junk that becomes recylced in order to make my unusual pieces. I never throw anything away. My other favorite painting material is Believe it or Not Nail Polish!!!!!!!!!!! I even collect buttons and shells from the caribbean and Florida, old AOL CD's and many other things like ribbons, colored tissue papers, bottle caps, rocks from seaside, feathers, seaglass, and scraps left over from knitting.

My Mermaid in the shadow box made with paint and shells collected from the beaches of Florida and St. Thomas Virgin Islands

As you can see I am fascinated with the illusive and imaginary Mermaid. I have created a few of them always in collage form. As you can see below,on the right here is a shadow box that I designed and created from the top of my head with no books or anyone to teach me this unique technique that I have, comes from GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

I Thank him everyday for the talents he has bestowed upon me, cause sometimes I have no clue how did what I did. When people ask me how did you do it cause its so amazing people say that how I do my art is very clever. I guess thats a nice way of putting it. Ask any artist that is truly a self taught one at that, how they get their inspiration, I think its truly from Divine intervention, cause sometimes I cant believe that I did create all that you see on my website with no one to really teach me.

"Circus Under the Sea" Original for sale $175

This collage idea popped into my imagination out of no where , it just came to me one night and believe it or not it came out exactly as how I imagined it in my head. So as soon as the idea came I put myself to create it and here it is Circus under the Sea. I gave it this name, becuase it reminds me of the colors and the glitz of the circus. Its wild, flamboyant, and whimsical. Truly, my art comes from within my heart. I hope you all like it, its one of my favorite pieces. Once again no other one like it and I don't make doubles of my work. The materials I used for this piece are, Chalk pastels for the background, a glue gun fro the swirling ocean waves and her hair, then I painted the glue with of all things Would you believe Nailpolish. I also used the shells for the umm Breasts , and an old broken faux pearl necklace, I also put in there a wooden form of a seahorse which I then painted and embellished with the glue gun and nailpolish. I also used the pink triangle piece which used to be one of my favorite bracelets, because of the bright pink flair that it has. So there you have the ingredients of my collage piece.

This is also one of my favorites because it has my favorite thing in it, the elusive mermaid. I first painted the reddish brown shadow box blue to simulate the colors of the ocean. Then I went to my clections of seashells and coral I collected from the Virgin Islands. Of course to create this I used the one and only glue gun. I used all kinds of things like beads and wire to make the fish, dark blue and glittering nailpolish, I created the mermaid from sculpey clay and then attached wire with red beads on it to the head. I also used old coins and broken costume jewelry to make the treasure box. I hope you all feel like you imagining swimmimg with the mermaid on her adventures of the deep deep ocean. Have fun!

My Little Mermaid "Queen of The Imaginary Ocean

"Tango Dancers" Acrylic on canvas panel.Original for sale $175

In this painting of the Tango Dancers I was inspired from a dance magazine. I first put on the canvas this rich textured copper acrylic paint in thick applications, then I used the back end of a paint brush to engrave the picture onto the paint. After I designed the actual figures I then added the details and accesories on the figures. It took me about 2-3 hours to finish this work, and it is also one of my favorites, because of the technique I used. I loved using the acrylic paint, because its nice and thick and you can build on it and it dries quickly. As you can see and read that  am not a very traditional painter, I try to mix it up a bit so that I don't get bored HaHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
