I am a first generation American with my heritage being Armenian and Romanian. My parents are from Romania and speak both languages fluently. I speak some of both languages not very fluently though. I am from Boston, Massachusetts, born and raised. My education is in Cosmetology in which I graduated at the age of 18 in 1987. I hold a certificate from Blaine hair School in Boston, MA. I also have an Associates degree in Applied Science from Bay State College and graduated from there in 1998majoring in travel and tourism.I had the awsome opportunity to work at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida, for 4 months to complete a college program. I worked at the All Star Music and Sports Resort in many areas of the hotel. I have worked in many salons throughout the Boston area, but never stayed for long, and finally I worked in the Airline industrywith US Airways Express and ATA Airlines a total of 6 years in the airline industry which was quite frustrating and also very rewarding. I have traveled to Amsterdam Holland, Helsinki, Finland, and also to the Caribbean islands such as St. Thomas, and St. John Virgin Islands, Tortola, and Antigua, quite amazing and can't wait to go back one day for another visit. I have also traveled to Constanta and Bucharest which are 2 of the big cities in the eastern European country of Romania. I have also traveled by bus from Romania to Greece. It was a verl long grueling bus trip mind you no bathroom on the bus to Greece which was almost a 24 hour trip, starting out at 5am in the morning and arriving at 12 midnight, but the 9 day tour was very nice, but will travel without the bus next time. I will have to go visit the Acropolis in Athens and the other islands such as Mykonos, Santorini, Cyprus, Aegina. I have visited in Athens, Thessalonika, Ionnina, Igoumenitsa, Corinth canal, island of Corfu, Patras, and a small town in the mountains, can't remeber the name of it but was quite cute and nice with lots of cafes. I have many interests such as; Art, drawing, collage, knitting, jewelry and greeting card designing, all self taught by the way. I also love all kinds of sports from Yoga, biking, hiking, volleyball, tennis, martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do, and the Brazilian martial art Capoeira, ballroom dancing especially the TANGO. I also love to travel to very exotic destinations which is how and where I get my inspiration for my artwork you will see on my website. I love taking photos of landscapes such as the mountains of New Hampshire, and Hawaii, and the sunrises and sunsets wherever I go. I also love to collect and read the books I find for $1, I cant let a good book pass me by like shoes.
Some of my favorite things are my unique jewelry that I collect when I travel, like my Blue Topaz, and my Tahitian Black pearls I got from Hawaii.I also have a nice turquoise ring from Ionina Greece that is a part of my collection. I also love exotic spicy oils and perfumes such as coconut oil, Blue nile, and Somalie Rose. I also love beautiful halter dresses with ankle strapped shoes. I also love exotic tropical fruits like the Mango, Lillikoi( passionfruit), and Papaya, and Pineapple. Favorite place to hang out in is Michaels or Pearls Arts and craft stores I can spend all day there. other great places to hang out are the art galleries, museums, libraries such as the Coply library which has a beautiful outdoor terrace to read and relax in. Love to go to the beach not to tan but to collect and find treasures from the sea in which I use in my artwork. Also love to shop in second hand stores or cheap antique stores to buy other people trash that turns out to be my treasure. So that's it Folks for now anyway. Love to all.
I just started this website so as for history its about myself, and my art and travels
This is a beautiful photo I captured off the coast of Kona on the other side of the Big Island of Hawaii. I caught this pic while I was working on deck 12 in the Aloha Nui Cafe in the back of the NCLA Pride of Hawaii ship at around 6:30 pm on a warm Friday evening. It is a very amazing sun setting in between the 2 forbidden islands Lihue'e and Ni ihau in Hawaii. I felt so peaceful and restful and wondering the power and beauty of God right before my eyes. Thanks to God for creating the people who created the digital camera and the computer, otherwise this website otherwise would be nonexistent. DID you ever think about that?
